Sahand Mountain
Sahand is the name of a mountain range south of Tabriz, north of Maragheh and east of Lake Urmia.
This mountain is one of the tallest mountains in Azerbaijan and the most important offshore volcanic mountain in Iran whose remarkable height is due to the accumulation of tuffs and volcanic ash that has been dumped out of the heartland. Sahand is called the bride of the Iranian mountains because of the abundance of plants and grass and flowers and grassland, because the whole mountainous area is covered with plants, grass, flowers and grassland. Sahand is unbeatable in the Golzari spring.
Sahand has 17 peaks over 3,000 meters, the tallest of which is 3707 meters high in the name of hot mud.

Bozghush Mountain
Bozghush Mountain is located south of Sabalan Mountain and northwest of Mianeh city. This mountain is a rocky and rocky mountain with its highest peak being 3304 meters high which is located in the north of Terchai village. This mountain is surrounded by lush green fields of Mianeh, near Mianeh, and is home to the tribes of Khodaverdi Lou and Hussein Lou. Its important rangelands are Ouch Tapeh, Samsakhlu and Khan Takhti.
Mount Sultan Sanjar
Sultan Sanjar is a volcanic mountain about 15 kilometers east of Zenuz and has a peak of 3255 meters. The mountain is covered with snow most of the year.
Sultan Daghi
This mountain lies northwest of Sahand Mountain, near the city of Esko, at an altitude of about 3410 meters and is the third peak of Sahand. At its peak there is a shrine called Sultan Hesamuddin.
There have been numerous glacial effects in the Sultan Dagh Mountains, but due to Sahand volcanic activity many of the glaciers have been covered by lava flows or disappeared as a result of running water.
Misho mountain
Mount Misho is north of Urmia Lake and separates Marand Plain from Shabestar Lake and Urmia Lake. Marand is on the northern slope and Shabestar is on the southern side of the mountain. Its maximum height is 2855 meters, its famous peaks are Fakaghi, Ali Elamdar, Kose Baba and Ozone Bel. Along the southern Marand Mountains and the Misho Mountains, it is connected to the Morodagh Mountains.
Morodagh Mountain
Moroodagh Mountain is 36 km west of Tabriz in the east-west direction from the northern Sufi highlands to Tabriz. This mountain passes in the northern end of Tabriz and leads to the Shabli. The highest point of Morudagh is 2210 meters high and its most famous peaks are Pyrmos, Pyrmos and Ejac.
In addition, the peaks and mountains of East Azarbaijan have other high mountains that are more than 3,000 meters high. Some of them are:

- Neshokouh, 3660 meters, in Arasbaran
- Shanjan Mountain, 3125 meters, in Shabestar
- Agh Dagh, 3550 meters, in Maragheh
